Portes du Soleil is Europe's largest cross-border ski area, linking 12 French and Swiss resorts across 600 km of pistes and 196 lifts — all on one pass. Centred around Morzine and Avoriaz, it is the pre-eminent family destination in the Alps, with a huge variety of terrain suited primarily to intermediates.
